Notes:
Playing a solo campaign using the combined rulesets.
Dungeon Master since 1996 or 1997.
Starting two level 1 Chaotic Elf characters, Cadaros (Wizard) and Farond (Thief).
Gameplay uses the generators from the Shadowdark RPG CRB for character and world creation.
While I enjoyed the Game Master's Adventure Design Kit I ended up dropping that product for my own notebook. Part of me absolutely misses that design kit though.

1: World Generation and Initial Character Creation (Cadaros, Farond) [EP1]
The campaign begins with defining the starting location and the first two player characters.

The party travels 8 miles east to the Depths of the Golden Brothers.

— Determine travel distance and direction. Randomizer type: 2d6 miles. Randomizer reference: 8. Randomizer result: 8 miles to the east.

— Cadaros attempts to stabilize Farond after he triggers a trap. Randomizer type: Wisdom check (DC 15 Hard). Randomizer reference: 12 (-2 mod = 10), Reroll (Luck Token x2). Randomizer result: Success. Outcome: Farond is stabilized, using two Luck Tokens, regaining one HP.
4: Carousing and NPC Introduction (EP4, EP8)
The party retreats, finds buried treasure (5 red dragon scales, 3 Warhammers), and returns to Rularn. They spend 100 gold carousing.

5: Cairns Dungeon Dive and Mummy Ambush (EP5)
The party travels to the Rune-Etched Boulders sealing a Deadly Cairns.
— Cadaros detects magic on the boulders. Randomizer type: Casting check (DC 11). Randomizer reference: 13 (Success). Outcome: The runes are magical, aimed inward to keep something in.
— Roll Random Encounter (Tomb table). Randomizer type: D percentile. Randomizer reference: 27. Randomizer result: 1d4 Mummies (3 Mummies appear). Mummies' Level: 10.
— Outcome: The party flees, setting fire traps with oil flasks and wedging a door with the 10-foot pole.

6: Cairns Exploration and Monster Encounters (EP7)
The party returns, finds a friendly Mutated Brute (former adventurer) who indicates the creatures are weak to sound. Farond gains an NPC enemy from carousing: Sirar (Adolescent Elf Thief).
— Final Monster Room Encounter (Solo Monster). Randomizer type: Stealth Roll (advantage). Randomizer reference: 19. Randomizer result: Success. Outcome: Farond and Tier sneak attack the nesting creature (16 HP), killing it.
— Final Treasure Found. Randomizer type: D percentile. Randomizer reference: 81. Randomizer result: Gold monkey idol with a ruby (60 gold).
7: Death, Recruitment, and Mapping Contract (EP9, EP10)
The party begins mapping the region north of Rularn, suffering a storm and a subsequent attack by a Level 6 Bone Naga.
— Encounter: Bone Naga (Level 6). Randomizer type: D percentile. Randomizer reference: 46. Randomizer result: Bone naga slithers over the sand. Damage taken: 9 points (Dendor, initially). Outcome: Dendor, Farond, and Tier are all dropped to 0 HP. Farond dies (Constitution -2, 2 rounds). Tier dies.
